Notice of the Thirty-Sixth Annual General Meeting 2019

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that 36th Annual General Meeting of the Local Association will be held at the banquet hall of Sri Ananda Bahwan Restaurant, 225 MacAlister Road, 10450 Penang on Sunday, July 21, 2019 at 10:00 hours.

AGENDA

1. Address by the Chairman;
2. To confirm the minutes of the 35^th Annual General Meeting held on August 12, 2018;
3. To receive the report of the Secretary;
4. To consider the statement of accounts for the year up to December 31, 2018;
5. To elect the following Executive Council for the ensuring year:
   a. Chairman
   b. Vice Chairman
   c. Secretary
   d. Assistant Secretary
   e. Treasurer
   f. Assistant Treasurer
   g. Council Member (Lay Member) (four positions)
   h. Council Member (Warranted Group Scouter) (five positions)
6. To nominate the President for State Chief Commissioner’s appointment;
7. To nominate the Vice President(s) for State Chief Commissioner’s appointment;
8. To appoint the Badge Secretary by the Executive Council;
9. To appoint two independent Auditors by the Executive Council;
10. To elect one lay member and one group scouter (excluding the District Commissioner, Chairman, Secretary) as representatives to the Penang State Scout Council;
11. To consider any matter of which three (3) days’ notice shall have been given in writing to the Secretary.
