Notice of the Thirty-Eighth Annual General Meeting 2021

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that 38^th Annual General Meeting of the District Council will be held at the Seminar Room, Ground Level, Livingston Tower, 170 Argyll Road, 10050 Penang on Sunday, December 19, 2021 at 14:00 hours.

AGENDA

1. Address by the Chairman;
2. To receive the minutes of the 37^th Annual General Meeting held on September 26, 2020;
3. To receive the report of the Secretary;
4. To consider the statement of accounts for the year up to December 31, 2020;
5. To elect the following Executive Council for the ensuring year:
   a.      Chairman
   b.      Vice Chairman
   c.      Secretary
   d.      Assistant Secretary
   e.      Treasurer
   f.      Assistant Treasurer
   g.      Council Member (Lay Member) (four positions)
   h.      Council Member (Warranted Group Scouter) (five positions)
6. To nominate the President for State Chief Commissioner’s appointment;
7. To nominate the Vice President(s) for State Chief Commissioner’s appointment;
8. To appoint the Badge Secretary by the Executive Council;
9. To appoint two independent Auditors by the Executive Council;
10. To elect one lay member and one group scouter (excluding the District Commissioner, Chairman, Secretary) as representatives to the Penang State Scout Council;
11. To consider any matter of which three (3) days’ notice shall have been given in writing to the Secretary.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that due to unavoidable reasons, the ensuring 38^th Annual General Meeting of the District Council scheduled to be held at the Seminar Room, Ground Level, Livingston Tower, 170 Argyll Road, 10050 Penang on Sunday, December 19, 2021 at 14:00 hours vide Council’s notice dated December 4, 2021 sent to the members of the Council, will be now be held at Victorian Garden Tea Room & Café, 33 Irrawaddy Road, 10050 Penang on Sunday, December 19, 2021 at 16:00 hours.

Members of the Council are hereby informed to attend the ensuring 38^th Annual General Meeting of the District Council at the changed venue i.e., at Victorian Garden Tea Room & Café, 33 Irrawaddy Road, 10050 Penang on Sunday, December 19, 2021 at 16:00 hours.
